Building on our unique understanding of the A4226 (Five Mile Lane) Improvement Scheme, gained through the provision of landscape and ecology services for previous iterations of the project, we are pleased to have been part of the Walters/ SISK Joint Venture for tendering for construction of this project. Working in collaboration with Walters/ SISK and Atkins as the design engineers, our understanding of the landscape and ecological considerations along the route alignment formed a key aspect of the tender submission, particularly the programming and sequencing of operations that could affect protected species (dormice, bats, ground nesting birds) and the Barry Woodlands Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
