We are pleased to announce our involvement in the design and build of the new £26 million, 3 to 19 education campus at Llandysul, for Ceredigion County Council. Soltys Brewster is to provide hard and soft landscape design and ecological consultancy services to Willmott Dixon, alongside Powell Dobson Architects, Cambria Engineering and AECOM. The landscape design aims to create best practice, secure, creative learning space for defined age groups, designed to encourage creative play and learning. Services include detailed design development, technical design and construction phase support. This significant new campus expands the practices education portfolio.
Our experienced landscape and ecology teams continue to be in demand across the renewable energy sector, providing planning application and EIA support to small, medium and large scale projects across the UK, including solar, wind, tidal and compressed air energy storage. Several are landmark UK projects using innovative design and technology, and calling for assessment, mitigation design and reporting capable of withstanding in-depth legal review.
Gary, Simon and Matt welcome Anna, Caroline and Chris, who join our experienced landscape and ecology teams in Cardiff. Anna and Caroline will be working alongside our existing team of experienced ecologists, to assist with growing workload and Chris joins our landscape team, bringing additional UK consultancy experience, complementing our existing team skills. The Cardiff office staff resource now exceeds its 2008 peak.
