Planning approval for a new school campus in the sensitive historic landscape of the Tywi Valley. Working alongside Carmarthenshire County Council, Asbri Planning, Austin Smith Lord and others, the practice was responsible for the LVIA and Ecology EIA chapters of the Environmental Statement in support of the recently successful planning application. Photmontages prepared by the practice's specialist graphics team assisted in illustrating the development within its Special Landscape setting for presentation to planning committee.
Construction is progressing on Taylor Wimpey's 125 unit residential development on the former Allt yr yn College site in the heart of Newport City. The practice addressed landscape and ecological constraints at both Planning Application and Reserved Matters stages including protected species, landscape design and major TPO tree and woodland constraints, successfully mitigating the loss of 50 grade A and B trees.
The practice is pleased to announce its successful appointment with Powell Dobson Architects, on the Data Science Building re-development for Swansea University. This follows the recent completion of the adjacent Institute of Life Sciences II research and education facility and further strengthens the practice's education portfolio which includes primary, secondary, further and higher education facilities.
If you haven't received one by post, limited numbers of our Soltys Brewster 'Stress Bat' are still available. Give us a call to see how we can help address your ecological and landscape environmental constraints and in the mean time, take your project development stresses out on this squeezable bat - unlike the real thing, ours is not a protected species!
