The grand opening of Redwood Lodge this month successfully marked the completion of this luxury care community near Bristol. This prestigious development for Audley Group is designed to meet the growing demand for modern retirement accommodation, offering independent lifestyle with high quality facilities. Maximising the potential of the site’s setting and creating a distinctive landscape for residents was key to this unique development. Working closely with Gaunt Francis Architects, Soltys Brewster took an active role throughout the implementation of the project to ensure the successful delivery of their design by Balfour Beatty and Four Seasons Landscape.
The practice has been appointed by two separate local authorities in Northern Ireland to guide and assist the preparation of Landscape Character Assessments across their respective jurisdictions. Long established expertise within the practice will be drawn on to verify methodologies being used in the assessment and to prepare for Independent Examination as needed. The completed assessments will provide Supplementary Planning Guidance as evidence based support to Local Development Plans currently being prepared for Antrim and Newtownabbey and Mid and East Antrim Boroughs.
Our annual voluntary contribution to carbon offsetting has this year been dedicated to solar energy in India, generating sustainable power and employment opportunities in the region as well as demonstrating technology for climate action. As part of the practices Carbon Neutral status, for the past nine years Soltys Brewster has supported Verified Carbon Standards schemes, delivering project-based voluntary emission reductions.
